And PSE employee involvement continues to build effective safety programs, lead local safety efforts, and identify new opportunities to make PSE an even safer place to work.
Who We Are: PSE in the Community
We strongly encourage employees to give back to the community! Leaders here are different than at other companies, and will provide support as you voluntarily contribute your time, money, and energy to the community. You’ll get to have your volunteer hours and donations matched to any qualifying nonprofit organizations though the Puget Sound Energy Foundation. PSE also directly helps families and the environment through our Powerful Partnerships program. We believe providing funding to specific nonprofit organizations and educating the community on ways to save energy increases conservation, growth, safety, and emergency preparedness.
In January 2018, Seattle Magazine recognized PSE among the top Work-Life Balance employers in its annual “Seattle’s Best Places to Work” issue. We have also received the 2016 Most Valuable Employers for Military award, a 2015 STEM JobsSM Approved Employer, and won the 2014 Fit-Friendly Worksite Platinum award.
